Sharmin Segal is an Indian actress known for her work in Bollywood films. She started her career as an assistant director to her uncle, the outstanding filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and made her acting debut film in his production, “Malaal” (2019), Malaal earned her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Sharmin’s paternal grandfather, Mohan Segal, was a successful film director, and her maternal grandparents are film producers Navin Bhansali and Leela Bhansali. She completed her acting course at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.
